Handcrafted sustainable jewellery based in the UK
Handcrafted, Sustainable Jewellery Inspired by Art, Travel & Nature
At Frances Kirk, each piece of jewellery is more than an accessory — it's a sculpture, a story, a tactile memory brought to life. Founded by Annie, a UK-based artist and trained silversmith with a background in fine art, our collections reflect a deep commitment to sustainable craftsmanship and meaningful design.
Annie's journey began across continents, growing up in ever-changing environments where small objects — shells, trinkets, talismans — offered comfort and a sense of place. These "objets de curiosité" sparked a lifelong fascination with form, texture, and emotional connection. After studying silversmithing in London's renowned Hatton Garden, Annie launched Frances Kirk to channel that passion into handcrafted, sustainable jewellery.
Working exclusively with recycled precious metals and reclaimed gemstones, each piece is slowly hand sculpted in our UK studio — either carved from wax and cast with gemstones embedded, or formed directly from bullion. Texture is at the heart of our aesthetic. Rings, pendants, and earrings evoke the feeling of unearthed rocks, with glimmers of gemstone like puddles of water or shafts of sunlight breaking through.
We create tactile, eco-conscious jewellery for those who seek beauty, sustainability, and storytelling in every detail.
The Frances Kirk ethos…
At FRANCES KIRK, our brand ethos centres around the principle of exceptional craftsmanship. Each piece of jewellery is meticulously crafted by hand, prioritising quality and attention to detail, ensuring that every item is not just an accessory but a lasting treasure. We believe that true beauty lies in individuality.. By emphasizing artistry for longevity, we aim to create jewellery that transcends trends and withstands the test of time, becoming cherished heirlooms for generations to come.
