Demeter's Ring

£895.00
Sold Out

The Re-Juvenate collection was all about championing reclaimed gemstones and recycled metals. Each piece has been inspired by Greek mythology. Demeter was the goddess of the harvest. After her daughter Persephone is taken captive to the underworld, Demeter was devastated and the harvest failed. A deal was struck where Persephone could return to earth for 6 months of the year. Her return was such a joy to Demeter that each year plants would flourish at this time; springtime. I like to think of this time of year as Demeter’s sweetest; the green sapphire set in 9 carat gold feels so abundant and uplifting that I have named this ring her ring. This would make a beautiful engagement ring as the stone is very central.
